A terribly overweight blonde went to see the doctor and he immediately put her on a diet.
He instructed her to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks. He then said,"The next time I see you, you should have lost at least 5 pounds."
When the blonde returned 2 weeks later she shocked the doctor by having lost nearly 40 POUNDS!
"Why, that's amazing!" the doctor said, "Did you follow my instructions?"
The blonde nodded..."I'll tell you though, I thought I was going to drop dead the 3rd day."
"You mean from the hunger?" asked the doctor.
"No," she replied, "from the skipping."

haha! ... only for a second, it doesn't really count. The video has nothing to do with me except I was in the same competition as Terri Sileno in 2007; different height classes. It's at the very end and Jeremy is in front of me mostly ;-) Terri & I used to be at the same gym(s) and I believe she'll be competing again at the Arnold Classic - say HI to her - all that are going!! I'm jealous!
I've been going to the gym everyday since last Tuesday (Sunday was a day OFF)... I still haven't gotten the AC Adapter for my elliptical!!! GRRR....
No pounds or fat lost... well the scale said a minus 3% Body Fat one night but that vanished! I haven't really eaten poorly, except a beer and some wheat thins last night... Oh and lastly - How BAD is Chicken Salad for you??? If it's made with light mayo on a whole wheat wrap??? I know it wouldn't be part of CONTEST dieting, but is it at least a Healthier choice?!??? Hmmm....
Date night was great on Saturday. Excellent dinner & Mall Cop was pretty good. The show got sold out. It was funny but not so much l-o-l funny.. maybe for some people. Overall, a good see.
And once I'm down in the dungeon working out & lifting, I will take video... I found my tripod the other day! What programs do you use to EDIT the stuff - music, titles... make it go faster, things like that??!!
Okay on another note, I finally sent my info to Team Scivation and I (along with my hubby) are awaiting our plans... we also are setting out to enter Bodybuilding.com's Muscletech Transformation Contest and the HydroxyCut Max one. More motivation to change, the better!
Oh, and I can't believe Joelle is still on the biggest loser!!!! Damn... I hope her friend, Carla, whoops her ass when she gets back!!!!!!
"Do you just want to go home?", I was asked by my husband after work because it was FRIGID, dark, and starting to snow. I said "TEMPTING, but NO!!!! We're going to the gym!" Day 3 DONE :-)
So I was on the elliptical next to hubby and you know what just sucks........ he burns way more than I do in the single session.. yeah I know he weighs more so that's part of it but the competitive side in me tells me to "STEP IT UP WOMAN!!!" So there I was pouring on resistance and trying to push that level 11 for however long, only to go back down to 7 and aim for 7.5.
And thank goodness for iPODS because gyms can play crap ass music from time to time, such as THE CURE - IN BETWEEN DAYS. I mean who wants to hear "Yesterday I got so old; I felt like I could die"... um yea... Not Me!
Last night I thought of something else I wanted to mention in here and said, I should write this down otherwise I'll forget!! Guess what? I didn't write it down and I've forgotten!! HAHAH... for now anyway.
Also, I hopped on the scale and to my "dismay" saw no change in the number.. then I thought 'What the hec is wrong with me?? I feel a hella lot better and change takes time... I know that. It's not all about numbers, it can be about inches too!' So what is a good period of time to really check myself? Two weeks? Jan 30th!!? I would hope to see one or two pounds gone by then.
2morrow night is DATE night with my man... celebrating almost 4 months being married! We're gonna go out to dinner (AND I WILL BE GOOD) and go see Mall Cop! Can't wait... but before all that is cardio & weights and depending on if we're at the gym VS. at home, I'll take video!
OOOooohhh... 2 other things:
1. What programs do you use to D/L music? Is it paid or Free?
2. Is there a way to convert my one piece into a two piece?!! Figures NPC would do that basically after I bought one.
I had one of these moments back in highschool when I was a cheerleading coach and I got bitched at as being unprofessional... but sometimes your frustration takes over because you want to see results in your team, you want them to get it together.. I feel for Bob. Tough Love. He wanted Joelle to know she could do it and to not give up before it was time.
It's funny when I was running yesterday my legs were obviously a bit more sore getting back into it and I thought to myself... when Danny was walking up the hill- the others helping him talked about feeling like your legs and lungs want to collapse but 'they won't' and he kept going!!
The body is amazing and is definitely capable of ...pushing the limit..
Just do it!!!

2 days of cardio under my belt... going again tonight! I plan to start back lifting this weekend & vlogging :)
Last night I was so excited to start back up with CARDIO in our very own "Dungeon" (which I will document via VLOGS to eventually come....) but the darn replacement AC Adapter I bought randomly at Sears didn't work.. GAH!!! So whats a girl to do to get some cardio in??? YUP! Reach for a beer or two or three, from the table to her lips!!! WTF???!?!?@#$#%^&*)() I could've jogged in place even for crying out loud!! Nope, I sat on the couch (aka futon) and watched all the new shows on CBS! I couldn't even tell you if a beer is better than water after exercise?!!! ;-)
Anyway, what's done is done but I'm telling you (and ME!!), THIS IS IT!!! No more excuses, I will move my fat arse each day even if it's some basic body weight stuff or what have you (or wack jumping jacks)!! No more.. it's too cold, it's too dark.... I want my body back!!! And guess what?!! That involves work... I don't have a cold anymore, so I am going to the GYM tonite until I get item #061511-AX2 for home!!!
Oh also I would love to start lifting with our Smith Machine from Dicks too but we'll have to buy new Pulleys (at $20-30 a pop!! Need at least 8!) because the ones they provide you are cheap as SH*T!!! The lat pull down and lower work fine but the side cables have no resistance AND it's properly set up!!!
Why o why can't anything seem to go smoothly???? I shouldn't expect things to I guess and stop having cheese with my whine!!! Hehee.. Time to get on with it already!! '09 is here!!

4. read through all NASM material; setup to take PT exam
5. save money for a house or Buy a home!!!
